| Job Description |
This is a temporary position based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to lead a RFP process; if successful, we wll post this position as a full time hire and the individual, based on his/her perrformance, will be encouraged to applyOversees the State Sponsored Business (SSB) Field Operations. Establishes strategic plans and business objectives for Field Operations. Leads implementation of corporate initiatives, including special project planning and budget management. Collaborates with senior management to develop and implement new programs to enhance WellPoint relationships with key stakeholders and to promote SSB programs and services. Develops and manages the annual operating budget within financial objectives. Resolves complex or politically sensitive issues. Maintains appropriate structure and staffing levels to meet business goals and objectives. Supports development of Requests For Proposal for reprocurement and program expansion. Coordinates problem/issue resolution with Regional Field Directors. Motivates associates to accomplish goals and objectives. Hires, trains, coaches, counsels and evaluates performance of direct reports. Represents SSB to regulatory agencies.

| Qualifications |
Requires a BA/BS degree, 7 years of experience, management experience, strategic thinking and planning skills, problem-solving and analytical skills; presentation skills, verbal and written communication skills, time management and organizational skills, PC proficiency or any combination of education/experience that would provide an equivalent background.
