Our Database Admin Advisor Sensitive is responsible for supporting Oracle databases and ensuring their performance, availability and security.
Duties and Responsibilities

Perform administration and maintenance of business-critical Oracle databases including but not limited to; Database design, backup and recovery, capacity planning, security, preventative maintenance tasks, upgrades, patching, and ensuring compliance with strategies

Provides ongoing support in production by tracking and correcting production defects, implementing enhancements and on-call support.

Assist with development initiatives including stored procedure design and PL\SQL performance tuning

Design, build and support existing and new data mart/warehousing solutions to manage the companies growing data needs including ongoing ETL development and maintenance.

Ensure availability and performance of the databases that support the business

Responsible for implementation and release of database changes as submitted by the development team

Assist in managing database compliance based on guidelines set forth by federal regulations

Assist in defining policies, standards, processes, and procedures relating to the company Databases and data management

Assist in the design and implementation of Database initiatives in regards to Corporate projects

Working closely with other team leads and their technical teams to ensure delivery of database services within the performance targets set.

Performs Project Management Tasks including estimating, status reporting and scope management.

Mentoring and knowledge transfer to other DBAs
